About Kitchen worktop CERAMICA FONDOVALLE KOMI ORIGINAL
Kitchen worktop CERAMICA FONDOVALLE KOMI ORIGINAL – the warmth of natural oak
CERAMICA FONDOVALLE KOMI ORIGINAL, from the MyTop line of the Komi collection, has the look of oak but keeps all the qualities of ceramic: it does not swell with water, does not scratch easily and needs no oil or varnish.
Look and design
The shade is a warm, natural oak with honey tones, straight grain and discreet knots. The matt Natural finish makes the surface look like real wood.
Suited to Scandinavian, Japandi or rustic kitchens, with white, green or grey fronts and black accents.

Why a ceramic worktop
- The look of wood, without the worries of wood: it does not swell with water, does not crack and needs no oil or varnish.
- Heat-resistant: the surface does not warp or discolour at high temperatures; for pans straight off the hob we still recommend a trivet.
- Does not absorb water: it does not stain from wine, coffee or oil and needs no impregnation.
- Hard and scratch-resistant: it handles intensive use; still, use a chopping board – ceramic blunts knife edges.
- Light-fast colours: the shades do not change over time, even in sunlight, so it can also be used in outdoor kitchens.
- Hygienic: safe for food contact and easy to clean.
Good to know
The slabs are 12 mm thick, and the pattern is applied to the surface of a white body. For a thicker-looking worktop and to carry the pattern over the edge, we recommend mitred (45°) edges.
Recommended uses
Kitchen worktops and islands, splashbacks, bathroom worktops and tables – including outdoor kitchens.
Care
Clean with warm water and a neutral detergent, using a soft cloth or a non-abrasive sponge. Stubborn stains can be removed with cleaners for porcelain stoneware. Avoid products containing hydrofluoric acid.
The worktop is made to order, to the dimensions of your kitchen. Ask for a quote – we take care of the site survey, cutting, edge finishing and installation.
