Slabs

Slabs are the full sheets from which worktops, wall cladding, stair treads and window sills are made. The Prowest catalogue lists 470 models in total: 227 models in composite quartz and 243 models in ceramic, priced per square metre. They are intended for furniture makers, stone fabricators, showrooms and projects that use the material as cladding.

The dimensions depend on the manufacturer: for quartz, usually between 305 × 140 cm and 330 × 165 cm, in thicknesses of 1.5, 2 and 3 cm; for ceramic, between 320 × 160 cm and 324 × 163 cm, in a thickness of 1.2 cm. Where this information is filled in, the slab pages show the dimensions, thicknesses and availability: in stock or to order, sometimes with a minimum quantity.
