CERAMICA FONDOVALLE KOMI ELEGANT, from the MyTop line of the Komi collection, offers the look of oak in a darker shade, with all the advantages of ceramic for worktops.

Look and design

The tone is a medium coffee brown with long grain and fine colour variations, like treated oak. The matt Natural finish keeps the authentic look of wood.

It suits white, light grey or black fronts, exposed concrete and metal – ideal for islands and tables in modern kitchens.

Why a ceramic worktop

• The look of wood, without the worries of wood: it does not swell with water, does not crack and needs no oil or varnish.
• Heat-resistant: the surface does not warp or discolour at high temperatures; for pans straight off the hob we still recommend a trivet.
• Does not absorb water: it does not stain from wine, coffee or oil and needs no impregnation.
• Hard and scratch-resistant: it handles intensive use; still, use a chopping board – ceramic blunts knife edges.
• Light-fast colours: the shades do not change over time, even in sunlight, so it can also be used in outdoor kitchens.
• Hygienic: safe for food contact and easy to clean.

Good to know

The slabs are 12 mm thick, and the pattern is applied to the surface of a white body. For a thicker-looking worktop and to carry the pattern over the edge, we recommend mitred (45°) edges.

Recommended uses

Kitchen worktops and islands, splashbacks, bathroom worktops and tables – including outdoor kitchens.

Care

Clean with warm water and a neutral detergent, using a soft cloth or a non-abrasive sponge. Stubborn stains can be removed with cleaners for porcelain stoneware. Avoid products containing hydrofluoric acid.
