About Kitchen worktop CERAMICA FONDOVALLE CHIANCA
Kitchen worktop CERAMICA FONDOVALLE CHIANCA – the limestone of Puglia
CERAMICA FONDOVALLE CHIANCA, from the MyTop line of the Stone Lab collection, is inspired by “chianca”, the traditional limestone of southern Italy, used for centuries in the houses and streets of Puglia.
Look and design
The beige-greige background has soft nuances, with slightly lighter and darker cloud-like areas and a fine stone texture. The velvety Real Matt finish enhances the natural look.
It suits wood, white or warm grey fronts and rustic or minimalist kitchens.

Why a ceramic worktop
- Heat-resistant: the surface does not warp or discolour at high temperatures; for pans straight off the hob we still recommend a trivet.
- Does not absorb water: it does not stain from wine, coffee or oil and needs no impregnation.
- Hard and scratch-resistant: it handles intensive use; still, use a chopping board – ceramic blunts knife edges.
- Light-fast colours: the shades do not change over time, even in sunlight, so it can also be used in outdoor kitchens.
- Hygienic: safe for food contact and easy to clean.
Good to know
The slabs are 12 mm thick, and the pattern is applied to the surface of a white body. For a thicker-looking worktop and to carry the pattern over the edge, we recommend mitred (45°) edges.
Recommended uses
Kitchen worktops and islands, splashbacks, bathroom worktops and tables – including outdoor kitchens.
Care
Clean with warm water and a neutral detergent, using a soft cloth or a non-abrasive sponge. Stubborn stains can be removed with cleaners for porcelain stoneware. Avoid products containing hydrofluoric acid.
The worktop is made to order, to the dimensions of your kitchen. Ask for a quote – we take care of the site survey, cutting, edge finishing and installation.
