About Kitchen worktop CERAMICA FONDOVALLE CALACATTA VIOLA
Kitchen worktop CERAMICA FONDOVALLE CALACATTA VIOLA – marble with violet veins, for a statement worktop
The CERAMICA FONDOVALLE CALACATTA VIOLA worktop belongs to the MyTop line of the Infinito 2.0 collection – the Ceramica Fondovalle slabs designed specifically for worktops. It reproduces Calacatta Viola marble, known for the striking contrast between white and violet.
Look and design
Broad breccia-style veins in violet-burgundy and dark brown unfold across a bright white background, outlining large fragments of marble. The pattern is bold and dramatic: on an island or a long worktop it reads as a single composition, with movement and depth.
To keep the marble in the spotlight, choose simple fronts – white, warm grey or walnut – and brass or matt black accessories.

Why a ceramic worktop
- Heat-resistant: the surface does not warp or discolour at high temperatures; for pans straight off the hob we still recommend a trivet.
- Does not absorb water: it does not stain from wine, coffee or oil and needs no impregnation.
- Hard and scratch-resistant: it handles intensive use; still, use a chopping board – ceramic blunts knife edges.
- Light-fast colours: the shades do not change over time, even in sunlight, so it can also be used in outdoor kitchens.
- Hygienic: safe for food contact and easy to clean.
Good to know
The slabs are 12 mm thick, and the pattern is applied to the surface of a white body. For a thicker-looking worktop and to carry the pattern over the edge, we recommend mitred (45°) edges. The polished finish brings out the depth of the colours and veins; the matt finish has a natural, velvety look and reflects less light.
Recommended uses
Kitchen worktops and islands, splashbacks, bathroom worktops and tables – including outdoor kitchens.
Care
Clean with warm water and a neutral detergent, using a soft cloth or a non-abrasive sponge. Stubborn stains can be removed with cleaners for porcelain stoneware. Avoid products containing hydrofluoric acid.
The worktop is made to order, to the dimensions of your kitchen. Ask for a quote – we take care of the site survey, cutting, edge finishing and installation.
